Sand Divisions
Open (Men's and Women's)

Check in: EXACT check in & start times will be emailed out by Wednesday prior. Tournament will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Cost: $170/team 
Format: 28 team cap per gender. Match play double elimination. Teams could get eliminated on first day. Teams could play 1-4 matches in a day.

Dinosaur Doubles (Men & Women's Division)

Check in: Thursday AM @ your net.
Cost: $120/team. Shirts included
Format: 10 teams per gender. 
     Thurs AM: Pool play on multiple nets, Short court, age point grid, side-out scoring, games to 15.
     Thurs PM: Elimination Bracket leading into the finals.

Grass Divisions

NEW in 2026

VOTR would like to let everyone know about a major change to our tournament format beginning with the 2026 season. VOTR will now be advancing more teams to bracket play at all of its major grass tournaments! For years, VOTR has advanced the top 2 in each pool to bracket play for divisions bigger than 12 teams. NOW, well over 60% of the teams will advance from each pool to bracket!

For all grass divisions, teams will now advance into two separate brackets after pool play: an upper bracket for teams finishing 1st and 2nd in their pool, and a lower bracket for teams finishing 3rd and 4th. Teams finishing below 4th place will not advance to bracket play. The bracket format will remain single elimination, with single games played until the finals, which is match play (21, 21, 15) format unless otherwise directed by your tournament director.

Coed Rotating Pairs Tournament

Cost: $120/team. Shirts not included
Format: For the 1st round each pool has all levels of play and teams have been placed into 5 team pools.  Depending on how you do, determines which division out of 3 you play in for round 2.  Round 2 determines who advances to the finals and the consolation round for your division of play, top 2 teams from each net to the finals and 3rd and 4th place to the consolation round. 5th place will be eliminated. Round 3 will determine the winners of each division and the consolation games.

Men's & Women's AA, A, BB, B

Check in: Saturday AM @ your net.
Cost: $120/team. Shirts included
Format:
     Sat AM: Pool play on multiple nets, big court
     Sat PM: Elimination Bracket for top pool play teams leading into the finals; play only continues into Sunday, if necessary.
Prizes: 1st-3rd in-kind, 4th-?? for larger divisions.  Cash Prizes for AA division based on minimum 11 teams. See prizes tab.

Coed AA, A, BB, B

Cost: $120/team. Shirts included
Format:
     Sun AM: Pool play on multiple nets, big court
     Sun PM: Elimination Bracket for top pool play teams leading into the finals.
