That brings it down to $21/person/night We suggest trying to book lodging at the base of the ski area, near Ski Times Square. Friday and Saturday night after tournament parties are in this area, so if you can arrange accomodations near the hill, you can eliminate any driving during the evenings, and avoid any issues with the local authorities.
There are plenty of Lodging Options in Steamboat, however, with the close proximity to the Fourth of July each year, and with other events in town the same weekend like the Balloon Festival, Rodeo and Arts Fair, booking early is recommended....i.e. the town fills up.
